Quite the Goose — Vintage Hand-Painted Goose Decoy | 12” H × 17” L × 10” D

Some pieces have personality written all over them! Discovered in Round Top, this fabulous vintage goose decoy features a creamy painted body, a rosy orange bill, dark tail accents, and a wonderfully timeworn finish.

His graceful neck and generous proportions make him a charming addition to a collected home. Imagine him perched atop a bookshelf, welcoming guests from an entry table, or tucked among antique books and favorite objects in a library. A little sporting character, a little country-house charm, and plenty of personality.

Made with a thick pressed-paper/cardboard body and a separate molded head that appears to be plastic. Hand-painted finish with visible crazing, scuffs, and chipped paint. Exact age and maker unknown.

Measures 12” tall × 17” long × 10” deep. Offered for decorative indoor display.

$147 — includes insured shipping in the continental U.S.
