Royal Visitors in Watteau’s Studio by Vicente Garcia De Pardes (1845-1903) hand colored lithograph depicting the interior of the studio of French painter, Jean-Antoine Watteau (1684-1721) as he entertains some of his clientele. Watteau was a French painter known for his charming and graceful style of the Rococo, known for paintings like "The French Comedy" and his "Fêtes Galantes".
It’s plate signed in the lower right and framed behind glass in an ornate French Empire style wood frame with a beautifully carved bow and floral crown.
It was acquired at a lovely historic home in the Texas Hill Country. This estate showcased some of the loveliest pieces of art and antiques including a large Flow Blue collection.
It measures 38" tall x 31.5” wide and is in lovely condition with wear consistentwith age and use.
