A beautifully romantic set of four vintage continental European porcelain cabinet plates, each featuring a celebrated figure from Napoleonic history. Turquoise-blue panels, delicate floral garlands, scalloped rims, and extensive gilded detailing give these plates all the grandeur of an imperial salon.

The set includes:

• Napoleon Bonaparte
• Empress Joséphine — Napoleon’s first wife and Empress of the French
• Madame Sans-Gêne — Catherine Hübscher, the famously outspoken former laundress who married Marshal Lefebvre and became the Duchess of Danzig
• Maréchal François Lefebvre — Duke of Danzig and one of Napoleon’s prominent military commanders

Each plate bears a crowned “N” mark associated with the Naples and Capodimonte decorative tradition, along with a small hand-applied decorator’s notation. Because the crowned “N” was used by more than one European porcelain manufacturer, the set is being offered as vintage continental European porcelain rather than attributed definitively to a particular factory.

These later decorative tributes to the Napoleonic era capture the pageantry, portraiture, and Old World elegance associated with the French Empire. Display them together on a gallery wall, layer them into a glass-front china cabinet, or place them individually on easels like miniature works of portrait art.
