Vintage Pastoral Courting Scene Lamps, Hand Painted Porcelain

Lovely pair of mirrored vintage courting couple lamps in the style of a Boucher painting. The handpainted porcelain pastoral scene is set with the couple dressed in lovely French attire with a lamb by their side. They are so charming, with every attention paid to detail. They sit atop 'antiqued' reticulated metal bases with natural patina.

The lace shades are handmade and very old. They have some tearing to the liner and wear, consistent with their age, but still display beautifully. They are being offered separately for $50. Please message if interested.

I acquired them at a lovely historic home in Texas. The estate sale was by appointment and showcased some of the loveliest pieces... the same as the figural candle sticks and antique portrait. There were maybe 14 of us, and we about bought the place out, lol. 

Each measures approximately 19" tall x 7” wide and are in lovely estate condition.
