Texas Hill Country Bluebonnet Painting, Large Oil on Canvas, Artist Signed

Fantastic vintage painting of the countryside covered in bluebonnets and a blooming cactus lining the drive of a country road  as it winds through a rock wall leading into a Texas Hill country estate.

I love everything about this painting…the fullness of the bluebonnets, the rich colors, and of course, the clouds in the bright Texas sky. The decorative coppery gold wood frames perfectly envelopes this oil on canvas. It’s artist signed in the lower right corner. 

I acquired it from the Texas estate of a doctor and avid collector. In fact, it had an art light attached making it a very prominent piece in their home.  

It was the same estate where I found the two vintage chinoiserie pagoda cabinets and the Marie Antoinette and King Louis busts. It was on of the best estate sales I’ve ever been to! 

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

It's substantial measuring approximately 30.5” tall x 42.25” wide x 2” deep framed  and is in lovely estate condition.
