Vintage Majolica Lemon Tea Set, Made in Japan

Vintage Majolica Lemon Teapot and Cups. To say I’m obsessed with this set is an understatement! It’s all the things old Majolica should be… worn, discolored and has some crazing. You can feel the quality of the pottery… feel that it was loved and cherished in it’s previous life.

It was acquired from an old Texas estate where it held a place of pride among other collected pieces… one of the things I loved most about the house was the kitchen cabinets were painted a vibrant yellow. The first thing that popped into my mind was, what a cheerful kitchen. 

The teapot measures 6.5” tall x 8.5” wide with each of the cups measuring3.5” tall x 2.5” in diameter.  They are in nice vintage condition but do have wear. Please see all the pics as they are considered part of the description.
