This stunning vintage authentic Meissen porcelain bowl features richly detailed hand-painted floral bouquets on every side, framed in elegant medallions and finished with layers of gold gilding. The detail that truly steals the show is the raised sculptural bow at the front—pure Meissen drama, in the most refined way.

With its pierced openwork rim, double handles, and footed base, this bowl is made to be displayed. Style it as a centerpiece, a cachepot for paperwhites, or simply let it sit empty as a statement object—because it’s beautiful enough to stand on its own.

It measures 10” handle to handle x 9.25” deep x  5.5” tall.

There is some wear to the gilt detail but nothing that districts from it’s fantasticness.

Acquired from the estate of a noted author and former head of the Texas Historical Commission. He and his wife were passionate collectors who traveled extensively, amassing an extraordinary collection — including the largest assortment of Meissen and Dresden porcelain I’ve ever seen.
