Italian Snail Side Table/Garden Stool with a Tufted and Tasseled Pillow, Made in Italy, Vintage

This is one of those unicorns I’m always searching for… it’s an italian snail garden stool! Just saying those words brings a smile to my face…  isn’t it fantastic?! Atop his shell sites a ‘tufted and tasseled pillow’ with yellow accents.tThe Italian pottery is beautifully sculpted and glazed. 

It’s substantial in size and weight measuring 22” wide x 19” tall and I’d say it weighs around 30 pounds. The perfect size to use as a side table…inside or out. 

Acquired from a glorious River Place estate in Austin billed as a Doris Day/Rock Hudson-esque affair… and it did not disappoint. Every single piece was AMAZING!.
