This vintage painting beautifully depicts the iconic Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.

Venice, Italy is known for its canals, architecture and gondolas. Venice's history is rich in tradition resulting in some of the world's most magnificent art and architecture. 

Painted by Nona Mumme (1920-2009) who was a beloved interior designer for many, many years in the San Antonio area. 

I LOVE pieces like this… you can just feel the history and know it has stories to tell.
