Victorian Fireplace Fender, Round Top Find

I love repurposing architectural elements in my decor… especially fireplace fenders and old chippy wood, like these doors.

Traditionally used to keep ash and embers contained, vintage and antique fireplace fenders make fantastic wall decor as they are usually ornately designed and have some natural patina.

The Victorian piece in the first photo is unique in that it has a sculpted flower with a moveable center. I found it in Round Top and was immediately obsessed! The rich detailing, elevates it to a definite statement piece.
