Vintage Floral Needlepoint in Green & Gold Frame | Dated 1980–1981 | 20.5” H × 19.25” W × .75” D

Grandmillennial charm, stitch by beautiful stitch! Discovered in Round Top, this vintage needlepoint features a vibrant bouquet in shades of yellow, orange, red, and pink, arranged in a patterned green vase. The delicate wallpaper-style background, green-and-cream checked tabletop, and scattered purple grapes create a wonderfully layered still life, complemented by a decorative green-and-gold frame.

A handwritten inscription on the back records that Elaine Potts made the piece in 1980–1981 for her mother, Gladys Thompson, with the intention of passing it down through the family—a lovely bit of history preserved with the needlework.

A colorful addition to a gallery wall, breakfast room, or collected cottage interior. Hanging wire attached; easel not included. Paper backing shows discoloration and wear.
