Vintage Hollywood Regency Cherub Putto Pen Holder

Fantastic vintage Hollywood Regency cherub putto figural metal pen holder. The pen is included but doesn't write. It’s the perfect piece to accessorize a writing or library desk. 

I acquired it at the familial Castle Hills estate of a former San Antonio mayor and judge considered one of the city's founders. His daughter, who spent countless hours serving on various charity boards, was also an active and prominent member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT). 

This estate had so many lovely things, like the large 19th-century tapestry and Sitzendorf figural candlesticks. I was thrilled to have sourced some of the most fantastic things. 

Pieces like this are why I love sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor. Shopping estate sales, auctions, charity thrift stores, and antique malls to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time is my favorite thing to do.
