A glamorous rememberance of mid-century Italian vanity culture, this vintage lipstick holder carousel is equal parts function and fanciful décor. Crafted in Italy, the cobalt blue porcelain body is richly hand-painted with a series of vibrant songbirds, butterflies, and florals—each framed in ornate gilded cartouches. Atop the domed lid, a gilt metal cherub serenades your morning ritual with a lute in hand, perched playfully like the guardian of your glamorous beginnings.

It plays Santa Lucia when wound as the doors open and close. 

The carousel rotates smoothly and features six individual lipstick slots nestled behind the decorated panels, offering both utility and display-worthy beauty. Set on an opulent  gilt metal base with face feet, this piece brings grandmillennial charm, Rococo revival elegance, and a whisper of Continental whimsy to any vanity, powder room, or collector’s cabinet.

It measures approximately 14.25” tall x 6.5” wide and is in lovely vintage condition with light age-related patina to metal base and finial. All hand-painted details remain crisp and vibrant.

PLEASE don't try to manually open doors of the carousel or overwind the music box mechanism.
