Vintage Majolica Style Quail,

Fantastic pair of vintage ceramic Majolica style Quail. The details are beautifully hand painted and glazed in a mix of blue, brown, green, yellow and white.  Each still has the original JAPAN seal. 

I acquired them from a posh Austin estate where they were displayed with some of the antique Majolica pieces shown.

One measures 8” tall x 4.5” wide, the other measures 6.5” tall x 6” wide and are both in lovely estate condition.
