Vintage Art Nouveau Peacock Bookends, Hand Painted Cast Iron

Fantastic pair of vintage (near antique) Art Nouveau bookends decorated with a peacock with in an arched entry to a fanciful garden. Can't you just imagine the estate they’re on?

Colorfully hand painted in vibrant colors on cast iron, they are truly glorious.

I acquired this set from the estate of a New Orleans native who spent years collecting antiques and treasured pieces. Many were passed down from her own family, as well as cataloged auctions. It was a dream to shop.  Be on the lookout for more pieces because I kinda went crazy, lol.

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

They measure approximately 5.5” tall x 4” wide.
