Vintage Petit Point in Gilded Wood Frame

This is the sweetest vintage petit point in a gilded wood frame. I love the pinks and blues with the gold frame. Can you imagine the work that went into these teeny tiny stitches? Amazing!

I acquired it at the familial Castle Hills estate of a former San Antonio mayor and judge considered one of the city's founders. His daughter, who spent countless hours serving on various charity boards, was also an active and prominent member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT). 

This estate had so many lovely things, like the large 19th-century tapestry and Sitzendorf figural candlesticks. I was thrilled to have sourced some of the most fantastic things.
