Vintage chinoiserie ‘rattan basket’ wall pocket with yellow flowers and viney green leaves. Hand painted.  Made in Japan. Such a lovely piece. 

I acquired this piece from a charming Texas estate, the same as the tile giltwood table with the Murano flowers. 

Sourcing the South for vintage and antique estate decor pieces is my favorite thing to do...finding treasures that have been cherished for years and hopefully will be for years to come. Many are steeped in history and tradition and some are just pretty but all are thoughtfully curated so that I can bring you the very best of what I find💙

It measures 7” long x 4.25” wide. There is some natural patina and a bit of wear including a blemish in the original pottery, but truly is fantastic!!
