Vintage Baroque Silverplate Tray, Double Handled and Footed

I LOVE ‘Silver’ trays! I hoard them … I’m sure that’s a surprise to no one. I use them everywhere and for everything. This piece is very similar to the one I use a lot in my staging pics that I get asked about a lot so I’m offering this beauty…but, honestly, if someone doesn’t snatch it up, I’ll probably change my mind and keep it😁 

It’s double handled and footed…The detail is intricate. it’s a raised baroque with swirling acanthus and clam shells…in short, IT is GORG! Now, it’s not at all easy to photograph …so I hope I’m giving you all the angles.

This tray has a nice weight to it… it’s heavy but not too heavy. I don’t find any markings or hallmarks but it is very well made. 

I acquired it at a lakefront estate in the Lakeway area. There was so much Silverplate, Sterling, glassware… it was a dream for someone like me! 

It measures approximately 22.75” long handle to handle x 16” wide x 2” tall from the table and is in lovely estate condition.
