Vintage Teddy Bear Needlepoint Christmas Stocking | Dimensional Details & Red Fringe

Vintage Teddy Bear Needlepoint Christmas Stocking | Dimensional Details & Red Fringe

This cutie pie came dressed for Christmas—and didn’t overlook a single detail.

Estate-sourced and full of personality, this vintage needlepoint Christmas stocking features a sweet teddy bear with holly tucked beside one ear, a red, green, and cream striped scarf, and red mittens dotted with green. His sculpted ears and raised muzzle give him the most endearing expression, while fluffy cream trim adds texture to his mittens and the red polka-dot stocking pictured below.

A deep green bag filled with holly decorates the lower front, and playful red fringe finishes the scarf near the toe. There’s something charming to discover from top to bottom.

What makes this stocking especially delightful is its construction: the teddy bear’s head extends above the stocking body, creating a complete decorative front, while the stocking opens in the back. A red cloth backing and coordinating hanging loop finish this wonderfully whimsical piece.

A darling addition to a collected Christmas mantel—and a holiday friend you’ll look forward to seeing every year.
