Fantastic pair of vintage Wedgwood Terracotta Jasperware Salt Shaker and Pepper Pot with varying white putti scenes.  

Each piece is marked with the Wedgwood stamp, signifying its English heritage. The rich terra cotta color is a rare find. It was was only In full production from  1957 to 1959.

I acquired this set from a Central Texas estate that was a maximalist’s dream come true…the colors, the wallpaper, the chintz EVERYWHERE. The backyard looked like Palm Springs in the 60s. It was so FAB. The lady of the house had once been a professional ballerina and and loved to collect European treasures from her travels especially pieces from her native Germany. 

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

The tallest measures 4” tall x 2.5” wide.
