Wales Pedestal Lidded Pink Candy Dish with Applied Roses and Ribbon Lettering, Made in Japan

Vintage Wales Pink Pedestal Candy Dish with applied roses and the word 'Candy' written in light blue porcelain ribbon. Made in Japan with the original seal still attached. I love the gold spiral finial handle… it looks like a unicorn horn.  Such a great piece to use year round but is especially fantastic at the holidays or as shower decor.

I acquired this piece from the estate of a former interior decorator and wife of a Texas Ranger. Come to find out through conversation with the family; we had all attended the same church when I was a child. This was so funny because we had traveled over 150 miles to this sale which as you know in Texas is like next door😂
