A wonderful example of how a collected home comes together over time.

This one-of-a-kind side table pairs a beautiful antique Wedgwood Willow blue and white platter with a vintage wood “bamboo” style table base. The base was sourced at an estate sale years ago, and after trying platter after platter, this Wedgwood piece finally proved to be the perfect fit.

The oval base features slender turned legs, an X-form stretcher and a raised gallery that beautifully frames the platter. The classic Wedgwood Willow pattern, with its pagodas, landscape, bridge, birds and scrolling blue-and-white borders, brings an entirely new dimension to the piece.

At approximately 18 inches tall, it is an especially charming size for a drinks table or occasional side table beside a favorite chair, tucked into a reading nook, alongside a sofa, or layered into a library or bedroom.

The 19th century platter bears the WILLOW / WEDGWOOD / ETRURIA ENGLAND backstamp.
